What worked at the beginning doesn’t work anymore
When most small businesses start, the founders, owners, employees, or a close family/friend set up the basics of IT. The business runs fine with those systems for a long time.
But, as the business grows, the initial IT environment begins to stifle growth, primarily by requiring more and more time and effort by the business stakeholders. They spend their time struggling with email, storage, backups, security, etc., taking them away from the business’ primary responsibilities.
This costs time, money, stress, and future opportunities.
